- Switching bars quickly no longer scrambles your bookmarks. If you triggered a second switch before the first had finished, the two could overlap and duplicate or jumble the bar (and, on Firefox, collide with Sync mid-upload). Switches now run strictly one at a time — a switch requested while another is running simply waits its turn.

- Faster switching. Clearing the old bar off the toolbar now happens all at once instead of one bookmark at a time, so changing bars is noticeably quicker — most visibly on Firefox, whose bookmark operations are slower.

- Importing a bar can no longer overwrite one you already have. Importing from a JSON file now always adds the bar as a new, dated copy (for example
dev (2026-07-16)) beside your existing bars, instead of replacing or emptying one. Restore a backup, check it's what you wanted, then delete what you don't need.
- A simpler Import / Export. The multi-button import/export panel is replaced by a single {{label:optionsImportNewBar}} button next to Add bar; each bar keeps its own export icon. The old bulk "export all" / "replace all" and per-bar replace actions are gone — with import now always adding, there's nothing to overwrite and no confirmation prompt to click through.
