Settings is now a full page instead of a pop-up dialog. It fills the window below the header, with its tabs listed down the left. Your shots, pending changes included, wait untouched underneath. Leave with the back arrow, the Settings button or Esc.
Notices are readable on top of an open dialog. A message that appeared while a dialog was open used to be drawn behind it, blurred and hard to read. It now shows on top.
Input fields stand out more. Text boxes and drop-down lists use a lighter background, so they are easier to tell apart from the area around them.

The folder picker opens where you left off. It now starts in the folder you picked last time instead of dropping you in Downloads, so switching to another project no longer means navigating your whole drive again.
The update notice speaks your language. When a new version is available, its What's new and Download links used to open in English unless your interface was set to French, Spanish or German. They now open in whichever language you are using, falling back to English only where that page has not been translated yet.
The What's new link works again. It pointed at an address the website no longer serves, so it led nowhere; it now opens the release notes page you are reading.
