Description vs. private note

A card has two text fields beyond its content: a description, which shows on the card and is included in exported documents, and a private note, which is never exported and never searched.

They serve opposite audiences - the description is what you share, the note is a reminder only you see - so keeping them apart stops private remarks leaking into an export. Use the description for context others should read, and the note for personal reminders like "try a slower tempo next time".
