AI Music Seed Help

Generate a harmonic seed

This is the heart of the app. You type a chord progression, set a few options, and press Render seed. The app writes two files next to your saved seed — the audio seed and a matching MIDI — and shows you their paths so you can open or upload them. (Saving the seed itself as a .yams document comes first, and is covered in the next section — the render lands in that file's folder.) The rest of this section explains each thing you can set, in the order it appears on screen.

The render button itself, Render seed, runs the generation. It's disabled while a render is in progress, while the form has nothing to render or a problem the preview has flagged (see See the seed before you render, below), and until you've saved the seed to a .yams — because that file's folder is where the audio is written. When it's ready, press it and the files are saved.
