Audio format

The Format setting picks how the audio seed is written. A seed you upload to an AI generator doesn't need studio fidelity, so the default keeps the file small.

• MP3 — compressed and small; the right choice for almost every upload.
• WAV (uncompressed) — the raw audio, much larger. Use it only if you specifically want an uncompressed file.

When the format is MP3, MP3 bitrate sets the quality — higher numbers mean a slightly larger, slightly cleaner file. For a Suno seed, 192 kbps is plenty. The bitrate control is greyed out when WAV is selected, because WAV has no bitrate to set.
