AI Music Seed Help

Render style

The Style setting chooses how the chords are turned into sound. The notes are the same in every style — what changes is the texture, and that matters because the generator absorbs the seed's texture, not only its harmony. The choice is a trade-off between giving the AI a clear harmonic bed and keeping the seed's own sound from leaking into the result.

  • Pad — block chords held as a smooth sustained bed. A full, clear statement of the harmony.
  • Arp — the chord fingerpicked note by note, with a top line and moving bass. Adds motion and rhythm.
  • Drone — a thick, continuously sustained version with an added sub-octave for depth. The most present and least dynamic.
  • Marker — a short stab on each chord followed by silence. The harmony is stated but barely audible — closest to a silent skeleton that nudges the AI without colouring it.

If you're unsure, Pad is the safe default: present enough to lock the harmony, neutral enough to stay out of the way.
